Thanks for making the subscription easier through emails because that makes it easy to keep track.

However I just wonder whether we can send newsletters through FeedBurner to the person? Like there are some blogs where I can subscribe to their newsletter although they don’t use FeedBurner for that.

Feedburner is a great way to promote your content and increase your blog visitor traffic.Email subscription is good for those who are not willing to subscribe through RSS feeds.
However the Feedburner URL of a blog post is somewhat complicated than the RSS Feed URL.

@Dennis One of these days I’ll learn to add things to the sidebar. Between the recurring flu and my technical advisor traveling that hasn’t made it to the top of the priority list yet. It isn’t because I don’t believe you and hopefully it will get added soon.

@Jay Apparently there are some who still prefer email to RSS as indicated by both Dennis and Don.

@Don Thanks for weighing in. I suspect they may have so many email subscribers because they were around prior to widespread use of RSS; however, it is always wise to offer as many options as possible.

I agree with Dennis. Providing the option is important since not everyone is familiar or comfortable with RSS. One big blog I know has about one third of its subscribers subscribe via e-mail. Don’s last blog post..Basic Business Models to Make Cash Online
