Growmap, that’s a good practice, actually. As for me, I generally try do read the whole blog if I find the author’s posts useful and/or interesting.
On the other hand, I might not look thru the whole thing in case I came across the blog entry by means of Google and the like in the process of searching for a particular piece of advice, like a cell phone review.

All it really takes is to create a Twitter account, upload an Avatar and fill in your profile including URL. Then follow the most powerful Twitter users in your niche using the information in the Geo-Target Twitter post. Once a day share a few comments or a link related to your niche or retweet something someone you are following Tweeted. Even accounts that are not really active gradually accumulate a following and build relationships. Everyone is really busy so they don't expect you to read every Tweet or always be there. Hi John, There are so many that getting on all of them is a challenge. One excellent strategy is to focus on two or three to maximize your results there (and Twitter definitely needs to be one of those) and to claim your online identity on the others and use your profile to direct anyone who finds you there to the places you're most active. One mistake many make is using different names and Avatars on different sites. For maximum effectiveness it is best to be as consistent as possible. Thank you for such a detailed post. I think alot of people inlcuding myself are ignoring Twitter. Not because we don't belive in its power but because there is just so much to do and its hard to keep up with it. That said, Twitter is an excellent platform to gain exposure and targetted traffic, in some instances Twitter is becoming the biggest traffic generator for some sites.
