If you have found anything published in this blog useful would you consider sharing it? I bet you personally know someone who could really benefit from what we write here.
We greatly appreciate those who write about us, link to us, and review, share and bookmark our content.
Those who go out of their way to benefit others are our kind of people. We spend our time promoting ethical, honest, generous people. If that is you please contact us so we don’t overlook you.
We especially promote dofollow bloggers who use
CommentLuv and KeywordLuv.
The small percentage of bloggers who clearly understand the importance of collaborating and syndicating their high quality content can support each other’s efforts and create a viable alternative for the tiny minority who wish to live a good life in spite of an economy failing all around us.
The most valuable links and the best way to increase the traffic, visibility, and sales to your blog or business are links in page content.
The most important action bloggers can take is to focus on writing about and linking to those they want to support. If this blog is not in your niche consider writing about our other dofollow blogs.
We are especially interested in collaborating with bloggers in the real estate and home improvement industries because they are being severely impacted by the economy.
We could especially use more exposure for a high quality business we recommend owned by a brilliant family man who is an excellent role model for promoting traditional businesses using the Internet. Read more about them and get information about in our BizLuv MEME post or contact us asap.
We are not a threat to the status quo because we know 98+% of the population is not interested in what we are doing or have to say. It is probably only a fraction of one percent of all people who will care: a tiny drop in the total number of people but a significant number of people we need to reach.
You do NOT have to already know what is important. We will share that in our collaboration. You only have to share our vision of a better way. If you aren’t a blogger but you’re interested we would love to have you as a regular reader.
If you are an ethical, honest small or online business you are who we want to support. Read our post about why we Support Small Businesses.
We strongly recommend you start with getting your business listed in Local Search Directories.
You probably have favorite Social Networking sites where you can share our content with others who would be interested. To make it easy for our fans to find us we have compiled the links below to make that much faster and easier. Anything you can do to spread the good word will be appreciated.
WHERE TO CONNECT WITH GROWMAP:
- Follow GrowMap on Twitter.
- Recommend GrowMap on MrTweet – provide a strong reason and include #followfriday.
- Leave comments and questions in our dofollow blog. Be sure to take advantage of KeywordLuv to select your own Anchor Text and add your Twitter ID so we and our readers can follow and retweet you. If you aren’t sure how just ask and we’ll assist. Use our comment then share strategy to drive more traffic to your site and your Twitter account too.
- Tweet our posts. Use su.pr to maximize traffic to your Tweets.
- Review our posts at StumbleUpon. Reviews can include a personal comment, an image, and excerpts from the post. Nothing drives traffic as well as we have from StumbleUpon. If you’re short on time at least give our post(s) a thumbs-up and consider adding a review later.
- Subscribe to us, friend us and most importantly review GrowMap on StumbleUpon. (If you don’t know how we’ll show you – how-to post in the works.)
- Subscribe to GrowMap at FriendFeed.
- Bookmark your favorite GrowMap posts on Delicious. Be sure to use the tags you can find at the bottom of each post. You can see which GrowMap posts other Delicious users have saved.
- Favorite GrowMap on Technorati. (Click Favorite It just under the Authority number in the top box on the page.) [NOTE: Be sure to save a copy of any reviews you write at Technorati. They tend to disappear and it is easier to paste them back in than write them again.]

- Link to GrowMap from your blog. Ask and we’ll suggest specific posts most relevant to your site.
- Go to the GrowMap MyBlogLog page and click Join Community (on the right under tools).

- If you use Google Reader or another RSS reader that allows you to share us please do.
- If you are active on Digg, Reddit or other Social Networks and any of our content fits your niche thank you for sharing it.
- If you are a regular in a forum or answering comments and notice that our answers would be useful for others we would appreciate your recommendations.
Let us know where you’ve been active and we will reciprocate.
We spend far more time on Social Media than most anyone else you know so we can regularly expand your efforts each time you cross our path online or here.
If you write about us in your blog:
We will write a post than incorporates your business with appropriate anchor text into it here. We will eventually do that anyway even if you do not give us a heads up.
There is far more you can do in Social Networking sites and we’ll be explaining that in the future. As you can see, achieving any kind of consistency across so many different sites is not likely to happen by chance. That is why we are actively working on a complete process we can all use for tracking our Social Networking activities.
For now all you need to do is understand the above concepts. If you are already active in Social Media apply any you can. If you aren’t or you need assistance watch for a future post covering a step-by-step process for efficiently using Social Networking.
We encourage all bloggers to compile links like we have in this post and make them easy for your readers and fans to locate.
If you join our private blog collaboration we have a section where we share our links to encourage interaction and support.
To be sure you see it Subscribe to our RSS feed (if you use a Feed Reading Program or Subscribe via email to get updates by email.

Only small America stays true to small America. Thank you and FUCK corporate America.

What surprises me the most is that even people who have lived in small towns or rural areas all their lives were so easily convinced to abandon supporting the businesses owned by their neighbors and friends.
While that is not the only cause of the decline it is the one we can reverse by our own actions. We must buy from small local and online businesses whose income supports other small and local businesses.
Lack of patience (wanting more than we have immediately instead of when we can earn it) and what I call the “Wal-Mart philosophy of life” (making price the only criterion for what we buy from whom) created this economic disaster.
Being happy with slow, steady growth or even just surviving for now until we can turn it all around because there are far more important things in life than money is the solution.
If you don’t already have your free Local Search Directory Listings they are the best place for any good local business to start getting more visibility online and provide a way for happy customers to write reviews for you.
You took the words exactly out of my mouth. I hated every second working for a big corporation who treated employees like crap. I just started a new blog and I’d love for you to post your opinions like you do here. It is also dofollow. I am going to post a link at the bottom too so I can let people know I also believe in helping small businesses. Having a dofollow blog can help. My blog is http://www.anthonytori.com.
This is my first time i visit here. I found so many entertaining stuff in your blog, especially its discussion. From the tons of comments on your articles, I guess I am not the only one having all the enjoyment here! Keep up the excellent work.

Hello Camelia,
When you leave comments you should use appropriate anchor text for your links. Read the post I’ve featured in CommentLuv in this reply for how to do that.

I don’t do blogging (yet), but my sites are more “sales” or “referral” oriented. However, I have 1700 followers on Twitter, (maybe not the most in the world, but not too bad) and many lately have been people who are bloggers, or using SEO. I also Social Bookmark bloggers posts that I comment on to help spread the love. I think we should do anything we can for bloggers, it’s the least we can do! Any more suggestions that I can do to help?!?!
Twitter: @GrowMap
Hello again greenlants,
The best way to support any business, Website or blog is by writing about and linking to them in the body of the text within a page or post. Writing reviews for blogs in blog directories and reviewing businesses on major sites raises their traffic, visibility and potential leads and sales.
You might want to read and share the post I’ll use in CommentLuv in this reply. It explains a change in perspective that all small businesses should encourage. Their survival will depend on it.
While it may not seem like much links, reviews and recommendations make a HUGE difference. This post includes lots of suggestions as do the other posts that are featured in theRelated Articles by Zemanta at the bottom of this post.
I believe you will see many people who used to have many static sites move to having one power blog they focus all their time and effort on. Growing one blog about a subject you are passionate about takes a lot of focus, time and effort but IMHO it is well worth it.

I always tweet back super cool information I find on the web and your blog postings never fail to making to that list. Besides, I find this approach of listing all social sites existence into one and posting it as a regular article. That way you stay organized and all information can be found on one single page. Great strategy. We would like to join your collaboration, but unfortunately we dont think of having a blog on our site
But on the personal front we will catch up quickly. Thanks heaps!

Any blogger interested in receiving quality content for free or distributing content through that system can contact me right away.

Hi Danny,
I keep unusual hours depending on what I’m working on and who I can connect with when. As I told John in the comment reply above this on the page, only a fraction of 1% of the population is going to understand and be interested in what we know needs to happen.
In a way that is good because recognizing it means that we will stop trying to save the world and recruit the masses and focus instead on the tiny percentage but thousands or even millions of people who do “get it” and want to collaborate for their mutual benefit.
.-= Gail @ Support Small Businesses´s last blog ..Why Marketing is NOT Evil =-.

As always an excellent post. I don’t think it is just in times like these that small businesses need to stick together, I think it’s just more noticeable that small businesses are hurting. Big corporate can soak up the losses, but small to medium or start-ups have no cushion to ride through the hard times.
If you’re looking at costs as the overriding factor to purchasing something, just remember you get what you pay for.
Thanks for the post and the reminder that I was remiss in finishing a post supporting small businesses.
And I’m with Danny. When do you sleep?
.-= CJ @ Niche Writing´s last blog ..CreativeAce Grand Opening – Online Store =-.
Twitter: @GrowMap
You are absolutely right, CJ, it is NOT only in bad times but ALL times that we need to support small businesses, good causes, and each other.
Failure to do that has allowed the greedy to create the hard times we are already living in and that will get much worse. Only those who get really pro-active at promoting each other will keep their businesses open and their blogs viable.
We have to count on those we can trust and stop assuming that those we can’t will be sending us traffic forever. That could go away at any time. It is extremely easy for a search engine to censor what sites appear in the results.
Start noticing what important sites you do NOT ever see in the search results when researching on subjects they regularly write about but DO find if you search for specific text on their page.
It would not be difficult to filter results in such a way that specific sites are excluded from appearing for their most important keywords but still appear in other results so they don’t appear to be banned.
Computers and artificial intelligence will never be as adept as the human mind. They can NOT determine context and will always block – whether accidentally or due to bias – important sites.

You did it well. This type of post rides a real fine line between helpful and disgustingly self promoted. lol
.-= Dennis Edell´s last blog ..UPDATED: Theme Customization Part 3 – Banner Advertising NOT for Sale! =-.
Twitter: @GrowMap
LOL well people need to get used to self-promotion because when done correctly, i.e., when it is helpful to others, it is a GOOD thing to do.
In this case the links in the post can be used by other bloggers to figure out where they can find their own links. Anyone who has ever tried to figure out where to add review or find a blog specific page at Technorati knows how challenging it can be.
We don’t have time to waste. I encourage every member of our private blog collaboration and any other blogger who is wise to create a page similar to this one and share it with their readers and especially with the other bloggers in their community.
It is important to make it faster and easier to support each other. If you don’t want a “self-protional” post publish it as a page and link to it from your about page or put the information on your about page.
For a prettier way of presenting the same information check out About Kikolani. She has her Social Networking links on her author page. At least those who clearly understand why it is important will use them.
The majority won’t know what to do with links unless we are VERY specific. It is time we all stopped buying the concept that it is unseemly to make it obvious what we do, what we sell, how much it costs or exactly how someone else who believes in us can help spread the word.
There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being straightforward and honest with each other and recommending honest, ethical businesses, products, and causes.
What we all have to really think hard about is writing about anything that we do NOT passionately believe in such as being involved in Pay Per Post and writing about something for the money.
It is time we quit allowing conditioning to hold us back from what we need to do. We must get it clear in our own minds that there is nothing wrong with creating an income from what we write as long as we absolutely refuse to allow money to affect what we choose to write about or what we recommend.
Yes, I know this will be a strange new idea to many and yes, it is much more time-consuming and challenging to find a way to make a living by creating that way and ignoring any easy money that is being offered but it IS the right thing to do and anyone who thinks it through will realize that.
Most of the time people do NOT thoroughly think about what they are doing BEFORE they do it and once they have invested time or effort they don’t want to lose that investment. Unfortunately, sometimes that is what we need to do if we want to be ethical.
.-= Gail @ Support Small Businesses´s last blog ..Who Can You Benefit by Sharing GrowMap? =-.
Twitter: @DennisEdell
Indeed it is a good thing to do when helpful; a great thing to do.
That’s what I’m saying though, this type of article is not easy to do without crossing that line; words and phrasing really have to be thought out so one doesn’t look absurdly self promotional.
You did it quite well. I may try this myself once all the articles are posted again.

That “bad juju” message you’re seeing is from CommentLuv and not specific to this blog. Is your site registered properly with them? Do you get it in all CommentLuv blogs you visit or just this one?
Another commentator first alerted me to this message. I replied in another post with these comments:
“I just saw that bad juju message in one of our other blogs today. I’ll get with Andy and find out what causes it and what to do to fix it. For those who haven’t seen the error yet it looks like this:

Is your site registered properly with CommentLuv? Do you get it in all CommentLuv blogs you visit or just this one? I’ll check the configuration of the CommentLuv plugin and do some testing.
Could you verify that you are getting that message only in my blog and not in any other CommentLuv blogs? We need to know if it is something in my blog (maybe that plugin got updated lately and something changed) or at CommentLuv itself.
