I always check to see if there’s a link in with the deal if I consider buying print ads paired with an online offer, otherwise i’m not usually interested.

They have also gotten better at plugging their Web site in their issues so more and more of their readers will be going online. Have you listed your business in Local Search yet? I know it doesn't seem necessary but those high traffic sites like Yahoo! Local and Google Maps provide quality incoming links and you will get some business from Internet users who find you in the listings near them. It also makes you easier to find if someone remembers you're in Raleigh but can't recall your URL or business name. Another good reason to get your listings in there is that they many of those sites have reviews and you WANT those reviews. See our post on The Importance of Online Reviews for why.
